AnnaQ’s nine art carpets have been picked from Anna Halonen’s weaving mill’s large
collection of carpet and wall rug designs owned by the Halonen Family Museum Foundation.
The range of reproduction art carpets are highly authentic recreations of models from
the 1920s-’40s with cultural and historical importance. When ordering an art carpet,
every purchaser is presented with a certificate of authenticity of the origin of the model.
The AnnaQ range of art carpets is made unique by the Halonen brothers’ artistic ventures
into the field of textile design – Eemil Halonen is known mainly as a sculptor, Arttu
Halonen for his foundry work, and Kalle Halonen as a landscape artist.
All the tapestry weave rugs are made of Finnish woollen thread with a cotton warp.
